Dear Marc;
The 3 story one I got in Phoenix at the Pet Pad store chain. It's about
20x30x24h. It was I think $110.00 , & had 3 tiers of wire floor that I
needed to do the tile & duct tape to, but has ramps built in. It's made in
Italy especially for ferrets! I put a hammock and hanging fabric tube as a
"loft" , or extra room, when I hit nine ferrets.
A larger one I have used is designed for cats, about 24x32x4' high,
currently selling for $185 at PetSmart, but when Omaha Vaccine has it in
stock it's $126.. It has a tile floor, casters, & two carpeted shelves.
I've seen them at Petco also. I made a carpeted ramp between the shelves &
hung two hammocks I got from from Omaha Vaccine for $7.50 ea. (nice big
ones w/fleece insert for comfort.. Timmy "owns" one for himself when at the
house). They also sell a Ferret home, 36x24x48 with ramps & plastic shelves
for $125.95, with plastic base & casters. And a couple of more cat cages
too. Their # is 800-367-4444 7 day, & have a free catalog to browse.
There's plenty to choose from, just look around, & take your time.
Enjoy, Gary
