Hello all!
I'm back from semi-lurking, with good news -- Rascal's first birthday
is on Saturday, May sixth, and all of her fuzzy friends are coming over with
their humans!
Let's see . . . three ferrets, one rabbit, a hamster, plus four
teenagers . . . my parents may never recover. I've devised some games
including the 7W's (7W's stands for Wet, Wacky, and Wildly Weird Weasel Water
World), which is a series of PVC pipes and a bathtub with two inches of warm
water. There's Get-The-Socks-Back-From-The-Weasel, a combined game of keep
away and hide-and-go-seek. And, of course, there's
Pluck-The-Ferrets-Off-Poor-Flopsy-The-Bunny, my friend Katie's (the rabbit
owner) most un-favorite.
Anywho, I, being the juvenile cook, have come up with a recipe for a
ferret birthday cake/pie/pudding that I know my ferret loves and I hope others
will like it too.
Ferret Birthday "Cake" Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup applesauce
Raisins
Cheerios
Rice Krispies
WHAT TO DO:
Mix together in a small bowl applesauce, Cheerios, and Rice Krispies.
Make sure EVERYTHING is covered in applesauce. Separate into 3 portions on
small saucers or plates. Stick raisins into each pile and serve. Do not
exceed 3-4 raisins per plate, as too many may cause intestinal obstruction.
Serve 3 partying ferrets.
Very easy, and the ferrets (plus some of the humans ;-) ) go WILD for
it! Hope you all in cyberworld like it as much as we do!
