Has anyone in Maryland thought of contacting the ASPCA regarding the
senseless slaying of the ferret kit? (Association for the prevention of
cruelty of animals) Especially the manner in which it was killed. If I
remember correctly there was a post by Dr. Williams regarding
intra-cardial injection as inhumane to ferrets. It would seem that the
ASPCA law enforcement should be contacted. Does anyone in Maryland know
how to contact them? I would like to call and recommend that they
look into the matter - especially since the kit was killed so long after
the bite took place that the child would have died by then if the kit had
had rabies. It was a worthless and cruel act on their part.
