I've been out-of-town so forgive the mass reply:
Melissa, the Ann Arbor article was saved because of you, and I as a ferret
lover thank you for it. A pet store in Hartland had a copy and you
brightened up an otherwise negative article in my opinion. I get sad
thinking that ferrets are a fad pet right now in Michigan. The owner even
told me he rescued a ferret that was left in the field behind the store.
Good thing the press didn't get wind of that or else there would have been
a field day (No pun intended). Doesn't ignorance make you angry?
Chris, I have a copy of the f/x pet dept segment on ferrets. I kinda think it
could have been better, but I am probably being picky. If you really
want a copy I can help you. Just email.
Jeff, As for ferret tricks, all three of ours know how to roll over for
raisins. We cut them up into a bunch of pieces and a raisin or two will
last a heck of a lot longer than usual. Just make their head follow the
raisin behind their back and they will flip naturally. They catch on.
AND:
I found a sorority sister on the FML. She was the first person I knew
to have ferrets and thus interested me in them. The other day I noticed
she posted something and so I got to let her know that she made me the
ferret freak that I am today. Cool huh?
