Remember my wife who thinks that ferrets are rats?  I've been telling her
about the funny things that I've been reading (in moderation of course)
to the point where she at first would smile, and now laughs.  I pushed a
little farther yesterday by saying that I wanted to go to a pet store
"just to see how I really like them" (I know, pet stores are a bad word,
but they have their uses).  I called and found that they didn't have any
ferrets at the time.  When my wife picked me up from work, I told her,
and she said, "Well, let's go anyway".  Yes!  I caught her looking at a
ferret book, and at a couple of ferret toys when she thought that I was
showing the fish to our daughter.  hehehe..!  I even heard her mention
where we went to her father when we called.  There is a light at the end of
the tunnel.  I just wish that we weren't moving into a complex that
doesn't allow _any_ pets.
