According to the August 95 issue of Pet Age:
 
Senate Bill 875 would prohibit ownership of gerbils, brine shrimp, lizards,
anemones, tubifex worms, tree frogs, FERRETS, hedgehogs, and virtually all
wildcaught birds, reptiles mammals and aquarium fish.
 
Call your senator!
Write your senator!
Fax your senator!
Send them pictures!
 
Tell them ferrets are domestic animals, pets just like cats and dogs.
Ferrets are legal to own in every state except HI and CA, and will be
legalized in MA very shortly.
