Ferrets have interested me for a long while, and I will probably get two in
a couple of months. I try to read everything that's available (and that
isn't much), so I was happy to find the ferret FAQ, I will certainly order
one or two of the books mentioned.
 
I do however have two questions I have not been able to find in the FAQ.
 
1) In the messages I saw one or two mentions of ferret magazines.. Could
someone please forward me some addresses of good ones ?
 
2) A subject that's is mentioned in every publication I have read is the
ferret-odor, there is no mention of it in the FAQ other then the anal-gland
removal article (this by the way is a surgery that is considered as a very
bad and unnecesary thing in the Netherlands). What is the readers opinion on
the smell ?  I mean, when I get them I want to keep them inside the house,
what is the opinion of the ferret-FAQ on this ?
