Sabrina,
You may want to try some positive reinforcement to see if you can get your
older adoptee to associate you with something she loves.  If she's big on
Ferretone try having a little on your hand when you pick her up.  Afer a
while, pick her up then add a few drops to your hand.  Never put her down on
her terms, only when you are ready to set her down - no matter how much she
squirms.  They learn quickly.
