Hi!

I'm a new subscriber, and really excited about finding such a
huge group of ferret enthusiasts! We have three, Ruby, Quanza, and Kita
and have always thought that if other ferrets are as entertaining as
ours, then there must be some great stories out there!
Another thing to add about the "puffy tail thing"-- ours get
puffy tail when they're cold--kinda like goose bumps?
For those of you who can't keep your ferrets out of the
cupboards-- we have nailed a narrow strip of wood from one end of the
cupboards to the other, under the bottom edge, this way they can't open
the cupboards because there's no crack to work with (nose or paws) and
you can't see it unless you're at ferret level. We had to do this in both
the bathroom and the kitchen.
Does anyone know how to contact the ferret group in Surrey,
B.C.,we had the number and lost it-or maybe it was hidden by a furry theif?

                                Thanks, Tamsin
