Word has come down from Senator Quentin Kopp's office to write to your
Senator on the issue of legalizing the domestic ferret in the state of
California.
Many of you know, Senator Kopp, introduced a bill to legalize the domestic
ferret on Dec. 22,1994 but has asked us to hold back on writing to our
politicians.  He has now requested that we write.  The bill is SB55 and should
be heard in committee soon.
It is only through our efforts that we will join the ranks of legal ferret
owners.
Please use diplomacy and emphasize the positive when writing.  At no time
admit you are writing because you have ferrets....as it is important that
you use your full name and address on the letters.
We will succeed.
