        Michelle - we use a baby gat to keep our dogs in the kitchen when the
ferrets are up and running about. Neither the dogs northe ferrets have ever
climbed/jumped it.  But for the ferrets we use a clear piece of plexiglass about
28 in. tall that slides down in a small groove in the doorjamb of their room
that we made with two small wood slats.  They can't walk up it....
