Margaret & Rufus;

I was hesitating to reply, but something about your post has tweaked
something in my memory that I read a couple of years ago. (Unfortunately it
was in Cat Fancy, but it may be applicable).

An owner was having trouble with her cats' health - they were eating well,
not losing weight, but were vomiting and constantly cleaning their feet.
They tried everything, vet bills were high etc.

What she ended up doing was following her cats around for an entire day to
see what they got into. To make a long story short, the cats started their
day with a play session on a hardwood floor she used a spray or wax on that
was caustic/toxic to her kitties.

Is it possible your fuzzie is getting into some cupboard, or a hardwood floor
that might have something on it? Linoleum wax?

I believe that Dr. Weiss also had some excellent points, but I thought this
might help.
