Hello all. My name is Heather and I am the proud parent of Pickle
(sable male), Kit Kat (sable female), and the baby bunzy, Twinkie
(champagne male). Whoever said that ferrets do not make good climbers,
never met Pickle and Kit Kat. Twinkie tries, but he is still in that
rolly polly baby stage. (aren't babies great!) Well, I have been
planning on building my three furries some kind of jungle gym with large
PVC, ramps, etc. Has anyone out there done similar? Will they ignore it
completely in favor of the beloved book shelves?

Pickle did the most endearing thing yesterday. All of our ferrets stand
up to get treats of raisins and I was just waiting for them to connect
the two. Well, a year and a half later and I have finally gotten my wish.
I shook the can of raisins-"treat time" and gave one to all of the ferrets.
After giving on to Kit Kat, I turned to put them away when I look down and
see Pickle standing looking up at me with a look on his face saying "I'm
really quite adorable, how about one more raisin, please?" How could I
resist? Now let's see if he ever repeats that trick.

As for becoming more snuggly with age, it is definately true! Pickle
has slowed down a WEE bit and enjoys a good snuggle from mom or a
jaw rub from dad. "Oh, joy <yawn> That feels real good <yawn>". I
unfortunently do not have the touch :(
