Hi! everybody.

To Barbara Carlson: I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I know how much
it hurts. I just lost Priss two weeks ago and it still hurts very much.
I came home and found her. I felt absolutely terrible that I wasn't with
her and still do. She was my very first ferret. I had her for 7 1/2
years and it was like losing a child. Again, I am very sorry, and know that
I'm thinking about you.

I am feeding my kids Totally Ferret and IAMS kitten food mixed with
Purina Kitten Chow. What I don't do is give them any ferretone or
linatone. Should I be giving them some of this everyday? Some advise,
please.

XCaret's skin seems to be turning blue. Is this because she is about to
blow her coat? Is she getting her adult fur in? Or, God forbid, is
something wrong with her. I took her out of season about three weeks
ago, maybe this has something to do with it?

Some advise to others. My kids have the cages with two or three levels
with ramps and El Senor was going from the second level to the first
level and somehow got himself hung up by his penis. The poor little guy
shrieked like a banshee. I can only imagine how painful it was for him.
I know of two other people (ferrets) that this has happened to. My
advise is to make sure you get carpeting on the second levels and also
the ramps, if you use this type of cage. Or, just get a one level cage.

Thanks.
Pat and children (Princess, Lucci, ElSenor, Cherokee, and XCaret)
