My male Rufus has scales on the pad of his right back paw.  It now appears
that the scales are starting to appear on the pad of his other back paw. He
seems healthy and doesn't lick or bite at his paws.  I have another male who
is kept with Rufus who doesn't have this problem.  Does anyone have any idea
what might be causing this?  Rufus was a rescue so I don't know about his
previous life; I have had him for about 6 months.
