Hello everyone,

I've been on the FML since it's inception back in 1981 (Boy, has it been
that long??) and now I must say goodbye. My position at HP has been
excessed so I'll be losing my email connection Monday. Eventually I
hope to be getting hooked up at home with AOL or Delphi and I'll get
back on but for now it's so long. I'll miss all the amusing stories and
the latest ferret news and medical advice. A big thank you to Chris
Lewis for starting this thing and moderating it for so long. I bet you
didn't know back in 1981 that it would grow this big. After reading
issue 001 I realized I was the only anonymous poster on the list back
then. Back then we even had an anonymous ferret mailing list but for
only 5 issues. Also, a big thank you to Bill Gruber for taking it over.
You're doing a great job! I would also like to thank Dr Williams for
all he has done since he joined the FML and for personally answering a
question I had on pet rats. He, as well as the other vets, are truly an
asset to the FML. Also, it was through the FML that I got to meet Joan
and Dick Bossart and form the New Hampshire Ferret Owners Coalition. I
will really miss you all. It has been great!

So long and may you all have happy, healthy and LEGAL ferrets,

Gary Connors and Lisa (wife), Shelby (the Sheltie), and the carpetsharks
Woody, Arlo, and Emma

PS: A note to Bill. In case I forget to send an unsubscribe to
ferret-request you can go ahead and unsubscribe me next tuesday.

[Moderator's note: I hate to see you go... we'll miss you. But AOL and Delphi
are pretty inexpensive... so I expect to see you back! BIG]
