To Scott Swain (and everyone else):
 
My heart broke as I read the story of Toons' loss.  I'm not in a position
to say whether it was responsible or not to leave her in the car,
although I will certainly take heed and not even THINK about leaving
Scooter in the car unattended.  I'm sitting here with a cold feeling in
the pit of my stomach, thinking about what it must have felt like to find
her in the car.  I love my little rebel Scooter so much that I know
losing him, as I eventually have to, will be one of the saddest events of
my life.  I'm sorry you lost your little girl.
