Dr. Weiss,
 
Thanks for your input concerning Baby and her spenectomy. She had surgery
this afternoon and all went well. My vet checked out her adrenals and other
organs while she had her opened and everything looked normal. Some of her
lymph nodes were enlarged though so she will be on antibiotics for a while.
The spleen will be biopsied. The only thing I'm concerned with is that she
had a mast cell tumor on her neck two years ago and now she had one on her
hind leg and my vet said its possible that some may be found in the spleen.
She'll be coming home tomorrow. I'll be keeping a close eye on her. She's
been so lethargic lately, I'm hoping to see some signs of improved energy.
It will be hard not to play with her but I will restrain myself. Thanks
again.
