Hello again, all.
 
I have a 1.5 year old female ferret currently named Avi...The previous
owner named her after some sort of foreign beer.  Avi is an abbreviation
for the beer name, which i can't recall.  He told me that "She knows
her name, but just ignores you"...She is a sable, and is more black
than brown.  I don't exactly care for the name, but tend to wonder if
it's "cruel" to change it.  She certainly doesn't respond to it tho.
I also don't have any ideas for a new one.  My 5 year old stepson
thought "lightning-thunder" was a good name, I think I'll veto that.
When I told him I was considering naming the other Trouble he said
"noooo...call him Nice."  So far he is calling her "girl".  We have
probably had her for a month now, also.  Any ideas?  Is it "cruel"?
Will she care?
