Hee hee.  My ferrets used to climb up on my desk all the time, turn
my computer on and rename my Hard Drive.  Heck, it's a Mac, so it's
not like it's hard to do or anything, and they always renamed it to
something like 'ldksfjkl' and not 'Feed your ferrets now'
 
And yes, they are brilliant.  If you do go ahead and get ferrets, I
assure you they will amaze you or outsmart you at least a few times.
 
Never underestimate the ferret!  :)
