If you think your ferret may have an ulcer you should get to the vet with a
stool sample right away. Oliver was diagnosed with an ulcer just last week
and is almost done with her medication. Treatment involved two types of
antibiotics and 1/15 of a pepto-bismol tablet twice a day. It was not easy
to get her to take all of this at first but we have it down to a smooth and
quick routine. The point of all of this is, if caught early, ulcers seem
fairly easy to treat. But please get your ferret to a vet for the proper
diagnosis and care ASAP.

PS- Don't try the liquid pepto. It's too much liquid at once and tastes
nasty. I was amazed at how far she could spit it back up! Your better off
crushing the tablet and mixing it with science diet AD.
