Boy you leave for a week and a half and it takes days to catch up.
I apologize if I answer things that already have been answered. I mostly
just scanned all the issues I've missed and hopefully will catch up by monday
just to fall back behind.

Sorry Kari, I haven't lived in Grafton in almost 9 years. I shared
a condo with a friend. Is it getting any warmer up there? Things are sounding
good for the ferret bill. If it passes I may just have to go back there for
aweek or two.
Heat and ferrets.
Living in Florida it's hot 300 days out of the year. If you freeze
bottled water be carefull. Make sure your fuzzies can get as far away from
it as s/he wants. You don't want to freeze your ferret to death. From
march to november I will not leave my guys in the car alone for more than
a few minutes. Even if it's in the shade and raining. One thing I do that
my guys realy like is bobbing for ice cubes. Take a low serving tray or
tupperware tray. Put a few dozen ice cubes in it and about an inch of
water. My guys go crazy. (place large towel under it. They make quite
a mess.)
Use your head and alittle common sense, and you shouldn't have any
real problems with heat. I think there is a realy good article in the FAQ
on heat and how to help a over heated ferret.
My heart goes out to all who have lost ferrets in the last two
weeks. Take care everyone and every ferret. Have a fun filled weekend.
Brad and the gang of misfits.
