Hi there,
        I am very interested in a ferret mailing list, as rec.pets seems
firmly entrenched in the cat, dog, fish genre.  I tried some time ago to
reach you at the news.lists address, but apparently didn't get through.
I have two ferrets and we are coming up on our 1 year anniversary.  They are
still some of the best pets I have ever had - except when they get into
the walls or floors of our new apartment through some hole that I have not
yet discovered...my shepherd never did anything like that :-)
 
        It would be great to have someone with whom to discuss the joys
and problems of ferret ownership - such as the fact that my new housemate's
cat and one of my ferrets have adopted one another as best friends and
wresting partners and the persistent cough/hack the other ferret has had ever
since I got her (:-(.
