Anne - As I said before, I don't know anything about the use of
chromium. According to Dr. Susan Brown, she has used Brewer's Yeast (which
supposedly contains chromium) as a glucose tolerance factor in the treatment
of hypoglycemia. She does not advocate the use of chromium piccolinate in
her publications, so I cannot make any judgments as far as efficacy or safety.
I might try Brewer's yeast instead - at least we know that that
isn't harmful.
