Can someone describe vocalization as it pertains to insulinoma? One ferret
that lives with us groans a lot when she stretches and yawns. She is the only
ferret I have ever seen do this. But she only seems to do it when she is
waking up and stretching - she groans and then squeeks and makes those noisy
yawning sounds that humans do. It is really loud - you would hear it in the
next room. Is this vocalization? Or is it more like those baby screams where
they seem to yell for attention when they are only weeks old? Also - can you
describe pawing at the mouth more? Margaret, when she is waking up &
stretching, also puts her paws over her eyes and rubs them. Sometimes I am
worried that she is going to scratch out her eyes with her claws. When she
wakes up I swear she looks like a little human, stretching - groaning -
rubbing her eyes. I was wondering if maybe she is trying to paw her mouth and
just misses... Curious Charlene
