Just thought I'd chime in with various unrelated topics:

I got a photocopy from FerretWorld (address in ferret info file) of
their catalog, which has lots of neat stuff like stickers, shirts,
hats, pins, and of course things for your ferret too. The nice
part is that it's "anonymous" - they don't give your name to other
companies, the envelope was marked "FW" only, and boxes are unmarked,
so owners in FFZs need not worry. (Disclaimer: I'm not an employee,
etc.)

I didn't see the ferret show on cable, but I read some discussion
about it on the America Online "Ferret Chat" (trial account). If
it's the same one, it was only a part of a show on pets, and - get
this - a vet said that ferrets are RODENTS!?! (I wish I knew the
vet's name - I wouldn't want to take any animals to a vet who can't
tell that ferrets aren't rodents.)

My $.02 on the FML's future format: please don't make it a Usenet
newsgroup. As was mentioned before, Compuserve users wouldn't be
able to get it (though I have heard Usenet is coming eventually).
Also, anon posting would be more difficult. Usenet is also prone
to net.spams such as the "Green Card," "MAKE.MONEY.FAST," "Jesus
is coming..,"

[More to the point, Roger David Carasso, alt.syntax.tactical, and
the alt.tasteless crowd ;-)]

and endless other inappropriately posted advertisements,
diatribes, and the like. I don't want have to deal with those in
the FML! Finally, I can KEEP issues of the FML, request back issues,
refer to them when I want, and so on - this is invaluably handy at
times! Please, keep to a pseudo-moderated E-mailed format like we
have now.

Denise, plus:
Rocko & Randall (~5 mo. old male sable ferrets)
Grumpy (~1 year old teddy bear hamster)
