Recentley, after ferret-proofing my yard thoroghly, I let Snickers and P.J.
play outside. I was watching both of them, and of course, they decided to go
to opposite ends of the yard. The cat came out, and Snix went to intercept him
and I went to 'break it up'. Somehow P.J. stopped being in the yard! I went
around calling his name, and then panicked and kept calling "P.J.!!! Silly
Brat, where are you!?!" I ran around to my neibors house, and knocked, rang
the bell. No Answer. I ran around back to her yard, and there was The Brat,
happily rooting around in her flowers! I scooped him, covered in dirt, and
ran back to the front. The door opened, and I had to explain to my neighbor
why I had a grubby fuzzy in her yard. Then I gave the squirmy very-proud-of-
himself woozle a bath. He was mad! I had ruined his great escape, and he was
displeased. <sigh> I found how the rotten little sneak had escaped- he dug a
hole under the fence! I couldn't believe he did that. I knew they could dig,
but I thought that the roots and grass, etc would make it difficult.
-Stacey, Snickers, and the proud sneak, P.J. :>
