We keep scooter caged when the washer and dryer are going. The
washeris particularly a ferret killer. Ours (MAYTAG) has a
powerful drivebelt exposed underneath. Once in there, a ferret
would meet a grisly death. The dryer has no exposed running parts
underneath (MAYTAG), neither does the frige. Little danger... but
the dust, Ugh!
