     Since I am a Biology Teacher, I have a laser pointer.  My
     ferret goes NUTS over it.  One night, I thought she was going
     to blow a gasket, she chased the light spot so much, that she
     wouldn't stop chattering.  I now use the pointer in moderation.
 
(2)  Re: Snuggly Ferrets
     To the person who is suprised there is such a thing as a ferret
     who doesn't like to snuggle....THERE IS.  My Ferret Julia is
     happy, playful, and all that but she NEVER snuggles.  I have
     tried many times over the 3 years I have owned her.  The only
     time she ever has snuggled is the day she was fixed and de-
     scented.  That was because she was on drugs!!!
