Well, Vanilla is back in the swing of things and fiestier than ever!  I
didn't remember she was so NASTY (in an endearing sense, of course) but
ever since her operation, she's back!
 
She doesn't get along with Charley Dots (the dawg) but now, she's
fighting Charley and winning!
 
Last night, Vana decided that she was tired of sleeping her cage (and my
drawers) and curled up to sleep in Charley's cage!  Well, Charley -- who
hates her cage -- realized that someone a lot smaller was taking over her
home.  Suddenly, Charley decided that now she REALLY wants to sleep in her
cage -- first time since we've had the dog...
 
The battle that followed was an absolute riot (with Charley Dots ending
up leaping onto the kitchen table!!).  Needless to say, Vana won and
slept in the cage (although she got her head stepped on a couple times by
a big, puppy paw).
 
Thought it was time for a cute story to make us smile after all of the
sad stories we've heard recently.
 
P.S.  Vanilla's hair has grown back thicker than ever!
