Hi Everyone,
First things first,...Patience to everyone who I responded to
concerning Charlie, I will write you all back again.
By the way, Charlie is now known around here as "Ko Ko Mo Puff", A name
that we just came up with one day sitting out on the back porch joking
around. But he actually came to it, I don't know why, maybe because of
the tone we say it in, which is usually high pitch, and drawn out. At
any rate he never did respond to Charlie, maybe because of all the
negative events that took place in his life under that alias. Who
knows, but he just comes a running to Ko Ko Mo. :-)
I would also like to introduce everyone to my new additons, well
actually they've been here for 10 weeks, I've just had a time trying to
think up names for them. They are two very sweet, and of course very
cute females, they are out of one of my females....Masketeers Putter
Roo, and the dad is Masketeers Sir Zephyrus. Well, Putter Roo is going
on 3 and 1/2 and I don't want to breed her any more, and she's going to
be spayed, sooooooo I figured I'd keep two of her daughters, so as not
to lose the line. Well the first one to name came easier, she's a very
tiny, petite Chocolate sable, wich is very odd, neither mom or dad have
Chocolates in their pedigree that I know of, so she must be from way
way back. (And I know Putter Roo didn't encounter any other
boyfriends)
Anyway I named her.... Masketeers Tinker Toy. Tinker because it's
another way of saying ' Putter-' ing around the house, and Toy because
she's so tiny. Then came the hard one, A VERY silly Stanard Sable, who
is the spitting image of Putter Roo, So much so that I can't tell them
apart unless I am rate up on them, and she also has her moms
personality. I kinda wanted to name her a "P" name, preferably ending
with "R" like her mom, but about 2 weeks of searching ended that, Very
impossible to do, especially when you don't want them to sound too much
alike. Soooo I settled for naming her...Masketeers Deja Voo, because
of course its like Deja Vu looking at her, she looks so much like
Putter Roo. I think it was the "Voo" that did it, it just stuck. So we
call her Deja. They are both very sweet and have inherited two of
Putter's traits (more a less a traid mark) she's passed it down to
almost all her kits, and they are... Kissing, and Soap eating! (YUCK,
to the soap) Out of my now 14 ferrets.....Putter, Tinker and Deja are
the only ones who eat soap, and thats any soap they can get their mouth
on.
I still remmeber the dreaded "Say it again and I'll put soap in your
mouth" phrase. *%#&@^%$! "Oops, I'm sorry mom, I won't say it again
I promise, PLEASE don't!!" Too late, the bar was inserted and scrubbed
accross the teeth, and the taste lingered for hours as a bubbly
reminder.
How can they eat it willingly??? Ah well, we love them, and if it
wasn't for all these cute little antics we wouldn't have much to write
about, but then again if you were me you could babble on endlessly like
I have! :-) Sorry if I bored you all so bad that you fell asleep and
woke up with your face in your keyboards. It takes forever to get rid
of Waffle face!
Well I think I hear my mother calling........Hide the soap!
Take care all,
Hug your ferrets!
Michelle and The MASKeteers:-)
