Well, congradulations on the 1000 issue. Sorry, I haven't written in a long
time. Bongo is doing wonderful since her "Great Escape". She has finally
fattened up and is full of energy. Now, all I had to do was get her to be
friends with our other ferret. It was much easier than I thought. I tried
all the suggestions that I got through the mailing list, but it never seem to
work, so finally I just let them at each other. Ofcourse, I did supervised
them and when Ruby started getting rough, I just told him "no" and thumped
him on the nose. Now, they are the best of friends. They sleep and play
with each other all the time, but sometimes they play alittle to rough.
Bongo is so cute, when it gets to rough between them, she comes running
towards me and hides herself in my arms or in my shirt. The only thing that
bothers me, is that Ruby sleeps a lot more than Bongo. But I know Bongo will
grow up some more and will sleep just as much. I do have one problem with
Bongo though, she has this thing for soap. I caught her chewing on old soap
in the bathtub. I threw away all the left over soap, but I'm worried that
the soap may bother her.
Should I be worried? She seems fine, but I just want to know in case it
happens again.
