We had several ferrets at the Hagerstown show. No illnesses followed us
home. We had the problem (mold, virus, bacteria, nobody yet has found
its cuase yet that I know of dang it..) almost two years ago. Came in on
some ferrets we got at a local shelter. Until this recent outbreak I
hadn't heard of anyone except that shelter still having it. We had NO
real problems other than messy messy cages from the slimeys. We've
greatly increased the number of ferrets in the house (almost eight times
counting the babies we're selling) and none of the new ferrets have had
any sign of the problem.
