To Jennifer and her sable who has recently gained weight:

A couple of years ago, my 1# sprite, Butterscotch suddenly had a voracious
appetite and gained so much weight in so little time that her belly
dragged on the floor. A trip to the vet and an x-ray revealed a stomach
full of food, but no blockage. She actually had an adrenal tumor and
required surgery. The appetite and size change were a side effect.

Take your fuzzy to the vet. Cushings syndrome is serious stuff.

Good luck.

Cindy
Beren and Pippin too! (happy to be home after being altered)
