Tammy - here is a copy of the report on your ferrets adrenal tumor, which I have
sent to Dr. Weiss. Sorry - I've lost your email address.
VETERINARY CASE WORKSHEET
Accession number: 2483345 Date:February 26, 1995
______________________________________________________________________________
MICROSCOPIC DIAGNOSES:
S-000-95 Adrenal gland, cortex, right: Carcinoma, adrenocortical, ferret,
mustelid.
COMMENT: Adrenocortical carcinomas are common neoplasms of the ferret adrenal
gland, and may result in various cutaneous, repoductive, and behavioral
abnormalities due to release of excessive estrogens (adrenal-associated
endocrinopathy). In our experience, while these neoplasms may attain a large
size, metastasis to other visceral organs is rare.

Hope everything clears up. Best of luck.
