In response to the query about hiccups and ferrets...I can say that all
three ferrets that I have owned would occasionaly have bouts of sudden
hiccups.  I cannot provide and explanation for why this happens but have not
found it to be a reason for concern.  With Holly and Hannah it does seem to
occur most frequently after (or during) play time.  May be that the added
excitement and romping induces it??  Sorry not terribly informative...more a
"yah we get it too" response!!
