 Hi All,
 
 This is a request for information, pointers, etc.
 We all *know* what's true and untrue about ferrets, but there
 seems to be a need to convince others who have very limited
 experience and are armed with nasty folklore.
 
 Without credible citations from highly qualified sources,
 most of us are armed with little more than that in defence
 of our friends.
 
 Can someone direct us (me)?  If you actually have the facts
 and citations -- save us some effort and post them to the list.
