Re the discussion of effective humane punishment for ferrets... For
nipping ferrets we have found blowing in their face to be effective.
They _hate_ that, and it doesn't hurt them at all.  As for potty
training, sorry: the only thing we've tried is revoking their TV
privileges.  They really hate to miss The Simpsons.
