I was in the local pet store where I buy my ferret food
and paused to take a look at their newest batch of little
fuzzies. One of the ferrets had a very odd coloration which I can
only describe as being similar to a calico cat. He had a white
face with random spots of silver, brown, and cinnamon. When I
inquired about his odd coloration, the owner of the store explained
that he was called a badger ferret and was deaf. She said that the
odd coloration and deafness were traits which are both found in
all of the ferrets she had ever seen like him.
 
He was a really sweet little guy. I was just wondering if any one
had ever heard of this before.
