And now to the really old E-mail -
 
        To Mike Janke concerning milbemycin oxime "Interceptor" -
 
        Milbemycin is a type of antibiotic that is structurally related to, but
not the same as ivermectin.  However, they are so close in structure, that they
can be used interchangeably.  In fact, animals (often Collies) that are
sensitive to ivermectin toxicosis also show the same signs with milbemycin.
 
But for all intents and purposes, they are the same - if you use ivermectin in
ferrets, you can also use milbemycin.
