Hi all. I've been expanding my ferret library lately (I have 4 books
at home, and recently ordered 2 more). I was recently skimming though old
Ferret-List issues, and noticed a post in the October 15/93 issue (#608)
by Debbie See ([log in to unmask]) about some ferret books that are
available through FURO. I was most interested in 'A Tao Full of Detours',
by Fara Shimbo, but thought 'The FURO Book of Ferrets' might also be a good
general reference (we can never learn too much about our fuzzy friends :).

I was wondering if anyone out there who's involved with FURO could
answer some questions for me. The article quoted prices of $30 and $16 for
the books, respectively, postage paid. Would these prices hold for Canadian
orders? Naturally I would still pay in American funds, using U.S. money
orders, but I wondered if shipping to Canada would be more expensive, or
if there would be any other problems with Canadian orders. The article also
said that FURO members get 50% off these prices. What is the price of member-
ship, and does FURO accept Canadian memberships?

Opinions of the above two books from anyone who's read them would also
be appreciated. Thanks.
