Hi all ferret lovers! I haven't written here for a while, so I don't
know if you remember me posting. My name is Erik McMillan and I used to
write to all of you for info on ferrets. But now I know about everything
there is to know about the cute little devils! All of you were very nice
in sending me info on various things. The last time I wrote was about 4
weeks ago and I asked for someone to send my mom a letter on how great
ferrets are. I don't remember who did it but thanks. This week end I
finally picked up my five and a half week old sable from a breeder. I
had everything ready and its perfect. I have two questions to ask of
you. One, my mom loves her but she doesn't like the smell. I can't even
smell it but my mom doesn't really care about that. I was wondering if
there was anything I could do to keep the smell from spreading to places
where its unwa nted. Could I use a spray deoderizer? Is there anything
you have done in the past? And two, she is still young and I thought it
would be a good idea to bottle feed her along with giving her Iams cat
food. I think it will give her a chance to bond wit h me and except me
as her "mother". I've heard its a good idea to use goats milk. Is this
true? Thanks alot, I'de sure appreciate it if you could write me back,
Erik Mcmillan ( [log in to unmask] )
