Thanks for your comments re Max's inflamation.  There is no swelling
whatsoever, no discoloration other than the reddish inflamation and no
discharge of any kind.
 
I was kinda worried, particularly after Dr. Williams in-depth description
of the various types of tumors in a FML a while back.  The nastiest ones
seemed to be around the prepuce.  I wasn't too excited because there wasn't
any type of swelling, but I'm a worry wort when it comes to my ferrets.
 
There has been a definite improvement in the last two days.  I'd have to
say that it is almost back to normal with just an almost unnoticeable
dull redness, so it's probably going to be a full recovery from whatever
was the cause.
