UPDATE 3/25/94.....
 
Via a Ferrets Anonymous representative, and my vet (who is CDFA's liaison to
the California Veterinary Assoc.), I have the displeasure to inform you that
AB2497 did not pass the Assembly. We lost by 3 votes.
 
Take heart, AB2497 is not dead yet. I am also told it is either being
modified and re-introduced to the Assembly or will go again to Committee for
rewriting.
 
Will keep you posted....
