 On your question of how much ferretone to give your ferret.
I'd recommend that you not use mineral oil.  I've been told that it acts
like a laxative, and tends to coat the digestive tract so that absorption
of nutrients is diminished.  We dilute ferretone with Olive Oil.  Two
parts Olive Oil to one part Ferretone.  Some use 3:1 or greater.  Ours
get a dose of one "pump" about 5 times a week.  So far no indication of a
vitamin A overdose.
