To Mike Janke (and other interested parties):
 
        I will put an article on dirofilariasis (heartworm infection) in ferrets
on my to-do list.  My investigation of the new diarrheal disease is currently
proceeding at a fast and furious pace, so most other activities will be taking a
back seat for the next few weeks.  But thanks for the input.
