Sheesh ... I knew ferret-poop was potent, but ... my cage rotted away!
One of my little shits (heh) keeps pooping in the corner of the cage
rather than the little box and now that corner has completely rotted
away! There's actually a hole in the corner of the under tray, and the
wire in that corner is history (not so much that they can get out, but
soon). I had been having my kids change the under tray, which explains
why I didn't notice sooner. This happened within the last 6 months -- I
scrub it all about twice a year. Wild.
 
Does anyone know of anything I could use to neutralize the ferret poop?
I've been giving serious consideration to modifying the cage so it has
no corners except the litter box ...
