To Ellen Byrne and Willow:
Dr. Williams:
>I was wondering about other options, lately. To me, they would also be
>stressful on her heart.
Ellen - you really only have two options - to operate, or not to operate.
Medical treatment for adrenal disease simply is not reliable, and may be
detrimental.
Waiting two months will not change the issues - Wilow will still have
the heart problem, and will be two months further into the adrenal disease.
Also, the heart never gets better - it only gets worse.
Did Dr. K. find any signs of heart failure other than the murmur - and
does he think she should be on medication? If medication is required for
Willow's heart - I would certainly recommend a month or so on medication to get
her in the best shape possible. Otherwise, I wouldn't wait on the surgery -
her condition can only be the same or worse in two months.
