Last I knew, our shelter had over 15 ferrets in.  That was the end of
last month.  It's probably more by now, I don't think they've gone
to any shows.  It's the Delaware Valley Ferret Shelter - Steve Krouse,
(302) 633-1308.  (between Wilmington and Newark, DE - not too far from
I-95)
 
I'm also appending the star shelter/breeder/club listing.  You can look
[ shelter list deleted from archives. It is available as another file ]
at that.  There are several in eastern PA.  If you have any problems, let
me know.  I'm POSITIVE that we can find you a new furry from somewhere
other than the pet stores.  :)

Put something slick on the carpet (plastic runner used for under office
chairs works nice).  Since she won't be able to dig her claws in,
she'll soon be broken of the habit and you can remove the plastic/whatever.
