Hi, Kathryn,
We have two ferrets,  They both drag their butts across the carpet to
"wipe" after using the box.  They do it everytime and we had to put scraps
of old carpet under their boxes so they wouldn't stain our new carpet.  Our
male Greyson ( who is acting a little better after the chemo treatment ) is
descented, and Brittany our female is not.  I don't it could be a problem
because they have both done this for as long as we have had them.  I'm not
sure but maybe they just want to be clean?
